Born in 1979, this skilled craftsman has pursued the art of swordsmithing since 1998 under the tutelage of master swordsmith Hirokiyo Ando. He is dedicated to making Japanese sword culture more accessible, and as a result, he enthusiastically embraced the creation of the "Zangetsu" paper knife. He meticulously approaches this work, knowing that it offers valuable insights into sword crafting.

His daily quest centers on a unique aspect, the "Hare," not commonly found in contemporary swords, but frequently observed in antique swords. He has undertaken extensive independent research, successfully capturing the essence of "Hare," though he acknowledges that there's still room for improvement, and he continues to refine his techniques.

He has earned the prestigious Excellence Award at the Modern Swordsmith Exhibition organized by the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai. Additionally, he has dedicated 22 years to the "Hitachi" in Nita District, Okuizumo-cho, Shimane Prefecture, contributing as a Murashita apprentice to the preservation of cultural assets.
